Q: Is my data protected?
A: Yes. Your data is stored offsite, at our remote data center, where it is protected against system crashs, viruses, power failures and more. Read all about or data center here.
Q: Why No contracts?
A: We believe strongly that merchants will benefit from our products and services. Our confidence is demonstrated in the no strings attached aspect of our offer. If you are not completely satisfied with our program and services, simply advise us you would like to terminate. That all there is to it. No penalties or early termination fees are incurred and there is no large up-front investment to hold you captive.
Q: Are there any setup or activation fees?
A: PatronFlex subscribers do incur a nominal $50 setup fee.
Q: How quickly can I get started?
A: Immediately! Your account will be activated upon completion of your subscription and directions are supplied instructing you how to download and register the gift card software. If you are looking to acquire plastic gift cards too, we can assist with this process and have cards delivered to you, typically in less than 10 business days from when your artwork is submitted.
Q: Are there monthly transaction limits or any other kind of limits imposed on Gift Cards? Is there a catch?
A: There are no gift card transaction limits or limits on the number of gift cards you sell or reload. Period. No Catch. Reporting is unlimited as well.
Q: If purchasing plastic cards, am I limited in gift card quantity or selection?
A: Absolutely not! You can purchase as little as 250 cards or as many gift cards as you need and sell, sell, sell! We offer gift cards at competitive prices for your convenience. Order small supplies specifically branded for certain occassions. Choose from our wide variety of stock artwork or send us your own. It's that simple.
Q: Do I have gift card design choices?
A: Yes. We have carefully selected a wide variety of quality gift card designs especially for our merchants. You can choose any one of them or send us your own artwork for a truely custom card. Gift cards are 30 mil plastic PVC, printed in full-color front and black back. Your merchant name and address can be included on each gift card.
Q: Can card holders lookup their account balances and transaction history on the Internet?
A: Yes. We offer an add-on option, MyGiftAccount, for online internet access. With this optional add-on, you get a set of web pages hosted on our servers where your members can access their current account balance and view past transaction history.
Q: Can I sell virtual gift cards on over the Internet?
A: Yes. We offer an extended service with the MyGiftAccount add-on. Using this service, additional features are enabled on the MyGiftAccount site to allow your customers to purchase gift cards online and deliver the account information to the recipient of their choice. The purchaser receives a confirmation email detailing the nature of the transaction as well. This service involves payment collection and processing through PayPal. For all virtual cards sold and reloaded through this service, the standard PayPal fees are incurred plus a small service fee. Each month, payment for funds collected in the prior month is wired to your PayPal account. Contact us for more information if this service is of interest to you.
Q: I only want Gift Card processing. Do I have to enroll in the Loyalty Marketing Program too?
A: No, gift card and loyalty packages are purchased as seperate subscriptions. As part of your PatronFlex application, you may indicate if you would like to enroll with the Loyalty program but there is no requirement to do so.
Q: I am interested in the Loyalty Marketing Program. Do I need to purchase plastic Loyalty Tags?
A: You have options available to you. (1) You may purchase Loyalty Tags at the regularly advertised prices from us or from a 3rd party plastic card supplier. (2) Alternately, you may operate a cardless loyalty system by using your members' phone numbers or name to lookup and work with the member's account.
